| Comments: |
wore spikes all the way up to Middle Carter. Trail was solid and fully packed all the way to Carter Moriah. Carter-Moriah fully broken out but less traffic meant it was a little soft on the way over. As temps were warming we put on snowshoes and wore then for the full descent. Didnt really need them last 2 miles that was shaded and solid but the stiff snow from the morning turned to mashed potatoes with the sun in the afternoon. Great Valentines Day hike. |
