Untouched freshies from the parking lot. Score. 6-8 at start, 12-18 from N/S split to N summit, multiple feet along ridge with lots of drifts. MAde it back to new tracks when I got back to the N/S juction. Passed nine people on the way out, one of whom decided that his back was the best place for snowshoes. Real puzzler there. Nice to meet the infamous Ed out there..thanks for the chocolate. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and please wear your snowshoes when when the conditions are like this. |
