 | Comments: |
The XC trail, road, and lower Gale River trails are hard packed, probably having received some rain recently. However, at higher elevations the snow is unconsolidated, loose, and deep, requiring snowshoes for traction. The snowshoe track from bottom to top is readily evident and easy to follow, although with probably four to six inches of loose new snow up high. Garfield Ridge shows evidence of traffic toward Garfield but is much less tracked. |
