As requested by home/ bridge-owners we carried our snowshoe across bridge before putting them on (& before returning to bridge). We followed a group of 4 who broke trail of 2- 6+ inches of fresh powder- thanks again guys! Trail felt a bit "boney" under the powder, so probably a good thing to have fresh snow. Trail in good condition to beginning of Fire warden's trail. Gorgeous, blue bird day but frigid (-7 degree start). Made good time up & back. |
