Comments
Comments: Was a bit sketched out be what I might find above treeline. Up to there everything was perfect and packed smooth. Once above treeline it wasn't as I had feared. Some bare rock, some ice, some snow covered ice, snow in the cracks and crevices. I wore hillsounds the whole hike, except for a bit on the bare rock, but it had a bit of ice mixed in so went back into spikes. Just stayed on the ice and snow as much as possible to not dull the spikes too much. Wind was around 30-40 and coming from the SE, meaning it was worse coming down than going up, right in the face. Didn't see a soul the few hours I was there, the hill was all mine.
