Comments: Didn't even bring along the snowshoes and didn't need them. Just used sharp (Hillsound) spikes. Dull spikes would have had some trouble on the icy sections. The trail was solid, though I could see some legacy post-holes along some parts. Some sections of really steep icy trail, but I could always find a less-sketchy route around them.
