| Comments: |
Valley Way was packed down well and firm. Above treeline was bare rock with patches of snow and ice. Below treeline on Airline was not as firm but still not an issue in light traction, just below treeline there are clusters of blowdowns from the OCT 30th storm, below the blowdown section is a quarter mile stretch of ice on the trail, last two mile to Appalachia are in fine shape. Great morning above the trees, warm winter temps with some decent wind, beautiful views. |
