| Comments: |
Very popular mountain to be on on Saturday. Saw tons of people out. Trail is a flat, hard-packed highway. Snowshoes are overkill, spikes were perfect. A few people even barebooted the whole way up. There are small pockets of the trail between Starr King and Waumbek where fresh powder had blown on to the trail. Kilkenny Ridge Trail is broken out about 50 yards past summit of Waumbek to lookout area, and that's it. No visible tracks past that. |
