Comments
Comments: Nine hikers seen doing hike today. Most wearing microspikes; a few with crampons. Snowshoes carried incase warming temps softened trails but with overcast sky trails stayed solidly packed. Sharp spikes worked fine but some may prefer more aggressive traction. Surprised that there was not more ice. Chimney untouched but the bypass was fine and there is another path which avoids lower part of bypass for those choosing it. Conditions could not have been much better for a winter Osceola hike.
