Comments
Comments: A spectacular blue bird day. Left Ammo parking area in light traction to the start of the steeps going up Ammo. Switched over to snowshoes mainly for the televators - the extra traction also helped out. Snowshoes to the summit of Monroe and 1/3 of the way along Crawford Path on our way to Washington at which point light traction was enough to Washington's summit. Followed Gulf Side down to where it veers off to the right, had read a couple of trip reports relative to the Cog's 'multi purpose recreational trail' and spoke with another hiker earlier in the day that had used it in the past - great choice. Full and light traction were sufficient for the decent. Congratulations to Dan and Neil on successfully summiting Monroe & Washington.
