Comments
Comments: Stellar day on the Presis. The Ammo was broken out all the way to the Hut. The trail is in excellent shape with still some loose powder. Any ice is buried under the snow. We wore spikes to Gem Pool, then snowshoes (for the televators feature), and June wore crampons up to the hut. From the hut to Monroe and back to Gem Pool, Crampons worked best. Great day out with John & June (of J& J fame), who continued on over to Ike. Met up with Lucky Laura coming down from Washington. She hiked to Monroe with us and together we hiked back down the Ammo.
