Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The lot is plowed and can fit about 15 cars and the side of the road is plowed so you can get off the pavement (room for maybe five more). When we got down there were a lot of cars parked on the pavement which could be an issue if they patrolled the area.

Comments
Comments: Did this one with the Random Group of Hikers. There were some bare spots in the open fields down low but solid packed trail all the way to treeline. A couple of ice bulges along the Glencliff Trail but relatively easy to avoid. Above treeline it was mixed conditions - some solid windswept snow but mostly ice with a few patches of exposed rock (especially right at the summit). Wore spikes all day - the snowshoes went for a ride and I think regular crampons would be too much.
