Nice day out on the trails. Did the counterclockwise loop and ascended the South Peak first, then descended via the North peak. The trail up to the South peak is quite steep and slippery at times. It was manageable with microspikes and careful footwork, but crampons would have been nice. I think it would be difficult to descend, but saw a few people doing it. The trail along the ridge was packed down and easy to follow. |
