| Comments: |
Beautiful day. It was cold, but there was no wind whatsoever at any stage of the hike. Generally no more than two inches of snow up to Mt Liberty, and it was all packed down on the trail. From Liberty to Flume the trail hadn't been broken out yet, but even so it was no deeper than four inches, and usually less. I didn't bother with any traction on the way up, but used microspikes just to be safe on the descent, since there were a few patches of slick ice. |
