Parking at the top of Starr King Road can be difficult.
After the last house on the right, there is only room for 2 vehicles unless you want to be adventurous and go over the mound leading to the official parking area. Most of the hikers parked across the road at route 2. |

Trail was in great condition. Micro spikes and bare boots were what most hikers had on. I used my snowshoes for the first 2 miles just because I didn't want to carry them but realized it was more work than worth it and let them ride on my pack for the rest of the way. |
