Comments
Comments: Well the snowmobile groomer went out in fromt of us so we took the bike path to the trailhead of liberty springs. We could see that the trail was broken out at aomepoint and to our surpise only 3” of nee snow was on top. Making the breaking trail effortless. We had 0 issues until we came to cascade brook. There were no tracks on the other side but a lone postholer.... we looked to our left and saw a well definied path going up and on the ridge. We thought nice someone found a better crossing.... well we followed this for a while and decided lets try and look again. We went back and decided too risky so we went back to finish the herd path whack we didn’t complete. Well we got to the end and it lookednlike the people just turned around. We followed some along the water but still everthing looked to sketchy. We saw once bridged area but it didn’t look promising as looked like postholing or just straight holes with a little drop off under it. So we again wrnt back and read some reports on here which we just missed another path when going up to the left... should have gone right before the ridge and that led to a log about 100’ up. Reading a report it said a girl fell in here but other crossed ok. So therefore.... good luck.

One thing-flume slide trail did have the same breakout as liberty spring so maybe it is the better option for that side. We turned around and headed to the flume for some little walking and views. Mountains will be there again tomorrow.
