The only sizable crossing (on Webster Jackson) was mostly ice bridged. Some minor crossings still flowing a little bit. |

Blowdowns on each of the tree trails - most could be taken out by a hand saw (didn't have time today). |

Wore snowshoes for the Crawford Path - generally a decent footbed up to the Mizpah Cutoff junction, then it was a bit annoying in a few places, but good going as treeline neared. Snowshoes were ideal from Pierce to Jackson as well. Ledges had some ice and snow on them on Jackson, but Microspikes would probably be adequate. Microspikes would be good for Webster-Jackson Trail (wore snowshoes down to the split, then switched to spikes). Generally, there was 1-3" of powder on top of a solid base...maybe 12-18" total up high, perhaps closer to half a foot down low. |
