Comments
Comments: Avalon trail is a highway to the junction with A-Z. I was right behind one other guy on the way up to Tom; nobody else had touched the trail since the last storm. some areas had a few inches, most had 1-2', sometimes it was waist deep. Slow going. Found the guy ahead of me (Craig) at the summit. Both of us initially had plans to go over to Field and Willey, but after seeing that there were no tracks beyond Tom and the fact that it was below zero, we opted to return back to the car. Surprised by the lack of traffic.
