Cold day out there so we went for a wooded summit. We actually broke out the first couple miles of the trail yesterday, but were not able to finish the job due to our late start. We went back today to finish. Brenda caught up with us on the final assent and took the lead for bit (thanks). Trail had about a foot of new snow with waist high drifts -- slow going. Wind-blown snow filled in our track with a few inches of snow by the time we came back. Snowshoes are the best option for this one for now. Trail sign on summit is visible. |
