Comments: I'm righting this report to inform users that the Cog enterprise is currently charging $10.00 to park on their property. This includes access to the road along the track. Currently there are no alternate options for parking due to the nation Forest parking area being unplowed.

Ascended via the cog track to junction of Gulfside, where part of group opted for Mt. Jefferson and others to Mt. Washington.
Great day above treeline with light to moderate wind, sunshine, and chilly temps. Clear skies with great views. Good travel along mostly Styrofoam crust with some soft powder. Snowshoes worked well. Crampons would have worked also with minimal postholing.
Descended the Jewell Trail which was unbroken with no visable sign of recent use. Hard to follow actual trail path above tree line, but made a decent track through spruce traps and rock holes. snowshoes worked the best. Below tree line was a knee high slog with around a foot of powder and unbroken crust. Made a nice track to the cog base.
All conditions are currently changing, but there may still be a visible track to follow below treeline after the storm.
