Comments
Comments: was planning Cannon via Mittersill today but lots unplowed and they are still in the midst of construction there. Headed over to Crawford Notch with increasing snow depths along the way. Decided on Crawford Path to Jackson to avoid Webster Jackson wet spots..Crawford Path snow started at 4- 6 inches in the Notch but quickly increased and the snowshoes came out. Sadly.no poles though. Broke out trail to around 3100 feet where a couple of snow squalls and dropping temps turned me around. Fun coming down the trail in snowshoes...easily a solid foot and more of snow higher up. Some wets spots in the trail were freezing on descent as temps were dropping quickly
