Comments
Comments: Well packed trail before the steeps and the Carriage road, where there were significant drifts. Broke a snowshoe binding so abandoned at the junction (-15F), rather than posthole the Carriage road. Came down with micros. Saw -21F on the drive over. Extremely windy and dangerous conditions. Traditional New Year's Day hike looks much the same.
