Comments: Started at 8:00am going up polecat to D summit. From there the fun started. The next 2.1 to A summit was truly exhausting. Trail was not broken out and I had I guy about 20 minutes ahead of me. Poles were sinking out of sight in areas and snowshoes were doing their best to somewhat create a trail with the guy ahead of me. Just as I was reaching A peak he was coming back thru which I’m sure was a little easier for him to D peak. I decided to go the 0.7 down to nineteen mile starting with unbroken trail. Halfway down I met a young fella on his way up to A. Still the trail was a challenge to nineteen mile. Nineteen mile trail was broken out nice and it was clear sailing to the lot. Snowshoes all day, great views on the ridge as it cleared up thru the day. Unfortunately what we broke out will be all covered up by tomorrow. A lot of snow up there now. I bet 3ft in some sections. Had a lot of fun, hike on! ✌🏻
