Rain will change most of what I saw..That said there was a dusting of snow at the bottom. 2-3 inches on a couple existing on Rollins. Open slabs on Bluberry Ledge trail were slick but snow was adding texture. I could stay on trail and ascend. First big ledge up high was very icy but plenty of hand holds. Most others were surprisingly clear.Put on traction after leaving "view" spot on Whiteface heading toward summit. Icy was cleverly hiding under new snow. Rollins was ins good shape. A few icy spot just when you would let you guard down. Dicey's headed to summit of Passaconaway was very icy for a couple of hundred feet below the loop trail. Another tricky spot just at the top of the last part of the climb. On decent the top part of Dicey Mill was great. Some ice after brook crossing. I was back in the car driving away before I saw first raindrop.
