Comments
Comments: Greely Pond Trail is a highway. Put on my snowshoes at the junction with Mt. Osceola Trail and wore them until on of the binding snapped off just below the chimney on the way back. Trail was somewhat packed from traffic the previous day, but with the new snow it was essentially fresh tracks. I broke it out to Osceola through some bid drifts. On the way back my right shoe broke so I had to go bareboot on the way out (sorry, but I didn't have an option). Someone followed me up bare boot the entire way, so there are numerous post holes in the track that was laid down before them. Hopefully the new snow buffs them out before anything freezes. Wear your snowshoes. Just do it.
