| Comments: |
Approach is broken but still soft--should probably wear the snowshoes if you have them. Broke out the loop, which had been barebooted by some brave soul the day before (Thursday). Lots and lots of drifting between peaks, as is to be expected. With the new snow expect to have to bust through drifts 2-4' deep. No bueno. A couple of people came up after me and packed out what Piper and I had broken, so hopefully that put the trail in decent shape with only a few inches of new snow that fell after. Wear your snowshoes. |
