| Comments: |
Crampons up to the shelter. Broke trail with snow shoes up the summit. If no one get up there to smooth things out tomorrow, everything beyond the shelter may be a bumpy, icy mess. The summit is rime ice and ice. All of the snow has blown off and onto the lower ridges, creating the snow drifts. Cut a few stairs with the axe on the way up, but they were busted by butts and my snow shoes on the way done. |
