Comments
Comments: I skied Lincoln Woods (VERY bony -not much coverage but still doable) and Wilderness Trail (better coverage but still bony). For Bondcliff Trail, I put the snowshoes on right away - still pretty bony until closer to the summit. Only views were from Bondcliff and they were AWESOME!!!! Up Bond & to West Bond snow was very fluffy and maybe 8" deep, with some drifting. Snowshoes worked GREAT!!!! Caught my snowshoe on the summit of West Bond under some rocks and had some trouble extricating (what else is new...) Beware the drifts!!! Winds picked up on the way out - a little FIERCE!!! Where was everyone??? Only saw 3 backpackers all day!!!
