Comments
Comments: About 5" of powder down low to about 6" to 8" higher and between the peaks. Hidden ice patches beneath the snow. A few minor blow downs and an easy stream crossing. We hiked with Hiker Ed's grid group today. We had a large group and pretty well flattened any snow on the trail. Rocks are still protruding, so more snow and consolidation is needed to pack the trail. We carried snowshoes and crampons, but used micro spikes the whole day. It was a nice still day in the woods with some wind on the summits, but mild temps. All in all a great hike with a great group.
