All gates open. Able to park near bus turnaround. Looks like road had been plowed and sanded. As of 1 pm it had about 6" fresh powder. |

| Comments: |
Kept it simple and close to home today. Wore light traction to about 2 miles up and then switched to snowshoes to summit. Fair amount drifted snow below and above southeast shoulder then typical rock and icy trail to summit. Expected snow, low visibility, and strong winds on top and I wasn't disappointed. Not a day to linger. Snowshoes all the way down although the last 1/4 mile was rocky and needs another foot of snow to be fun. |
