Nice to be able to park at trailhead. I imagine gates will be closed at the end of hunting season. |

No problems other than ice on the rocks, water low. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Half dozen or so step overs, one duck under on Gale River Trail. One duck under on Frost Trail. Twinway was clear to top of South Twin with no wind damage from October storm. North Twin Spur as noted in a previous report. |

Expected to see more snow down low but the trail was bare for the first two miles. Then ice to snow. Twinway is filling in with snow but somewhat unconsolidated. Great views, windy and really windy late in the day once below treeline. Nice to chat with Snowflea on South Twin, the only other hiker I saw all day. |
