Comments
Comments: Great day out with Karen. Late(for us) start at 9:45. Spikes from the car were perfect. Snow was slightly sticky and packed and any ice we hit was soft so they bit in well. Ladder was clear of snow. Baselayer temps from start with the only snag being the 25mph wind on the summit. Perfect hiking conditions. Many going to Lonesome Lake on our descent and judging by there movements they wish they had spikes. Amazing to watch the number of people in shoes with no tread try to go uphill.
