Comments
Comments: ski trails (a combination of pole cat, and stray cat), Wildcat ridge

Snow making was in earnest on most of the route up. Several workers suggested that I could avoid most of the snow maker activity by using the stray cat trail some of way, then switch over to the pole cat. I was never asked to show my trail pass (which was good, because I started before the place even opened), and everyone I encountered was friendly.
The ridge trail was icy in the usual places, but by taking my time, and strategic foot placement, microspikes worked fine.
