 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All were easy today - even the dreaded Little River crossing |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The blowdowns haven't moved an inch since previous postings. Let me reiterate. Little River crossing up to dry crossing 1/4 way up N. Twin - 6 duck/crawl unders/step overs of inconvenient height and one 50 yard walk around. Descending N. Twin spur to S. Twin - another 1/2 dozen step overs/crawl unders. The rest of the way is essentially clear |

1. Thank you The Mayor for moving my car. Huge help. 2. Snow. Thurs night storm was mostly rain and sleet down low. However at 4,000 feet it was all snow - almost a foot of it which the wind was doing its best to make into drifts. I trudged through it bare boots but some might find snowshoes easier. Trouble is snowshoes make getting over the blowdowns doubly hard. |
