All were rock hoppable where the trail crossed, but some ice on the rocks made us choose our steps very carefully. |

| Comments: |
Didn't see anyone out today. It felt more like winter than fall.
Rattle River Trail runs up the north side of the mountain and holds snow really well. A dusting of snow covered the parking lot and lower trail, increasing to 4-5 inches up top. Some icy sections, but we avoided them and stuck with the boots today. Slippery wood on the bog bridges was the biggest hazard of the day. Great views up top! Trails were easy to follow. |
