Brookbank Tr had no issues. Valley Way had 2 areas of blowdowns between Scar Tr and Upper Bruin Tr. I managed to get around both areas. I understand a group of 4 tackled these blowdowns later today. There were pockets of ice along the upper portions of Valley Way and on a large amount of Lowe's Path. Both paths also had flowing water on both of them in numerous places. Traction was not needed. Just careful walking at times. Above treeline, everything was dry. No ice and no snow. There were scattered blowdowns (roughly 5) on Lowe's Path, from just above the King Ravine junction and further below. Was able to move around them or push through them. |
