| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Ice - Black |
|

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The river was very high, and the bridge connecting to the trail has been misplaced, have to cross train tracks up above and sneak through the woods to get to the trailhead.(Started the trail by the Cog Station, instead of parking lot down below). condition of trailhead near lower parking lot unknown. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
there are a couple trees down, but there are little paths going around or directly over. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
definitely do not recommend dogs on this hike, would be very difficult for them in the alpine zone, they would constantly be fighting the wind and climbing all the large rocks. |

none |

| Comments: |
trail was in better shape than I had expected. I was expecting a lot of trail washouts and blow overs, but it really wasn't all that bad. |
