| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few large blow downs on OBP which were easy navigable. The real mess was on FRT at mid-point between Little Haystack and Liberty Springs Trail junction. Innumerable blowdowns. Some requiring a belly crawl under and 2 or 3 which required walking on top of the spider web of downed trees as there was no walk around alternative the brush is so thick. Be prepared for <1 MPH in this stretch. Liberty Springs Trail was wet but no significant damage. One large blow down blocking the bike path between Liberty Springs TH and The Basin. Saw a trail crew hand sawing the eye gouging branches at blow downs. Thank you trails crews! |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Many and all well behaved as far as I witnessed |
|
| Bugs: |
Nope |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Gerber saw blade in pouch which I imagine was the crew's. Placed in middle of trail on tree that was blocking the path. |

| Comments: |
Dozens and dozens of hikers at the usual hot spots on FRT until Little Haystack and then wonderful solitude up to Liberty and back to car. Met two gentlemen on way up Liberty Springs Trail to do a moonlit traverse. Gave them the heads up of the mess ahead. Yes, the skeleton was still on Lafayette. |
