 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Carter Notch Road is paved, Melloon Road is dirt but easily traveled. Not difficult to find. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Several small brooks. Only one was more than a one-step hop. That one required a little bit of searching to find a good way across, but I crossed it both going up and down without getting my feet wet. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
About half of the trail had running water in it, but much less than what I saw yesterday. Difficult to keep boots dry, but the tops of my boots were never wet. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw two on the trail. Don't think they'd have any difficulties. |
 | Bugs: |
Nada. |
 | Lost and Found: |
Nope. |

 | Comments: |
Some parts of the trail were wet and had running water in them, but nowhere near as much as on Doublehead yesterday. Restricted views from the cabin and the summit. Probably in a day or two the trail will be back to normal. |
