2 crossings had broken planks; one obvious and the other one marked. |

Crew out working on upper half of Nineteen Mile Brook Tr. and AMC worker on his way up to fix generator at Carter Hut. 3 blowdowns on Nineteen Mile Brook Tr.. Crew may be tending to these and the broken boards. |

Trails dry except for a few minor wet or muddy sections. All the dry rock on upper Nineteen Mile Brook and in the ups and downs on Wildcat Ridge made for the easiest hike I've had on the Wildcats. Ski trails dry as well. Other than the above mentioned AMC staff I only ran into 2 hikers all day. Windy day but this is mostly a sheltered route. Sun out and interesting views of the clouds working their way through the ravines on Washington. Excellent day on the Wildcats. |
