| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small lot at the end of Haystack Road which leaves US 3 west of Twin Mtn sign with hiker symbol on highway. Overflow had to park alongside Haystack Road. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
By-passed the first two crossings of the Little River via the herd path. The third crossing was not difficult as the water level is low and there are plenty of rocks to choose for the crossing. Beware that some wet looking rocks may ice up soon with the colder temperatures. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails in good condition. One uprooted evergreen across the North Twin Trail at about five feet off the ground. Easy to duck under now. May be a problem with snow. Located between Little River and North Twin. About A foot to a foot and a half in diameter. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw many dogs today. Trail easy for dogs although dry above third crossing of Little River. |
| Bugs: |
Some gnats, but not bothersome. |

| Lost and Found: |

| Comments: |
Great day to take advantage of the views on both of the Twins. Could see from Maine to Vermont. The usual muddy areas on the ridge were dried out. Saw many other hikers out today. |
