Comments
Comments: Bare-booted to the summit with no problems. Other hikers using yak traks, microspikes, stabilicers, and even crampons. A few tricky spots on Kinsman Ridge Trail in the boulder section, had to take pack off in one spot to get through narrow opening but mostly good foot and handholds. Used microspikes on descent which was much easier than I expected. Barebooted out from the hut to car. With a little thawing and re-freezing this week it will probably get icy on lower Lonesome Lake Trail and require some traction.
