| Dog-Related Notes: |
Parts of Castle and Castle Ravine trails would be very tough on a dog pads. Would not recommend Castle Ravine Trail, Castle Trail is doable for them, just use caution and watch pads closely. |

| Bugs: |
Only buzzing around a pile of poop and tp some no talent a$$clown left next to the Castle Trail near the first castle. :( |

All trails clear of blowdowns. Castle Ravine Trail just before and after Roof Rock is muddy and very slippery. I'd recommend ascending Castle Ravine Trail if you tend to roll ankles easily or always seem to slip and fall on rocks and boulders that wobble, the headwall is a minefield of ankle busters when descending. I have been on this trail before so I knew what I was in for hiking down it, I tip-toed and took my time and was fine, enjoying the peak foliage in the ravine descending!
Great day to get in a quick above treeline hike :) |
