| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We parked on Mill Street in the parking lot next to a soccer field and crossed the suspension bridge. We were the 1st car, when we left there were cars everywhere but there was also a soccer game going on so not sure who was there for the hike or the game |

| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
NONE |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Only thing I would recommend for the Carter Moriah Trail Head, better signage on where to park as it is in the middle of a neighborhood. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
I saw 1 dog. Depending on your dogs agility level and dealing with steep rock slabs it might be best to not bring your dog. |
| Bugs: |
out and annoying but not biting |
| Lost and Found: |
found a random columbia shirt towards the top (we were the 1st ones to the summit) While I don't like leaving trash I didn't want to hike back with a random sweaty shirt, I left it on the trail. Maybe he was hiking to one of the carters and planned on picking it back up? Either way, pack your trash and your clothes out. |
