Dog-Related Notes: Cooper's first 4k. he did great!!! water down below but carry some for the top section. one pit bull was a bit unfriendly but everyone else pretty happy to be out there

Comments: thought we might make it to the upper brook crossing but Cooper was into it and kept relaxed pace. Trail is in great shape with solid steps through many of the previously eroded areas. It was my extreme pleasure to run into Larisa and later Jeremy along the way. Friendly folks and dogs at the summit and Cooper was well received !! Great day to be out ..views from the excellent outlook at summit were a bit hazy but still good. Thank you
