Saw one dog who needed a little help on the scrambles. I think my dog could have made it fine but might have had some sore (or cut) paws because there are some sharp rock edges. |

Late start at 11:30. We were in the clouds and it was a bit cool. There were some breaks on the way down and we got some good views. Starting to see some color - scattered yellows. This is the "short" way up Jefferson but there's a bit of scrambling. Not a bad hike for adventurous kids who like to climb rocks. We saw a few young'uns along the way. Back at car by 4. |
