Finally made it out this one, and couldn't wait to see these fabled stairs I had heard so much about. These staircases are absolutely amazing, one of them is SEVEN feet long! I was lucky enough to snag some conversation with the adoptive trail maintainer who had installed them. Just from talking to him and watching him work, it is clear that the Forest Service should be grateful to have a passionate VOLUNTEER. A model trail for sure! |
