Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Road has a small washout on the side of the road once you turn off of Magalloway road, but easy to get around. Road is 8 miles long, just follow the signs.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: None 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Bobcat trail was easy to follow, but no blazes 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only one brook to drink from at the beginning of the Coot trail. Bring water! Met one friendly dog on the trail.

Bugs: None today as it was very cool weather.

Comments: Great hike, but takes a long time to get there. Great views from the top. I would recommend when you get to the end of the road turning your car around so you can just pull foreword when you leave. There is a bathroom at the trailhead.
