Comments
Comments: What an awesome hike. I know that a lot of people grumble about no views from the summit, but the easy start and finish to the hike, the views from Zeacliff, and a hut that is a perfect halfway point both out and back. Starting the hike at 7:30 gave me plenty of parking to choose from. AMC trail workers were out in force putting in new drainage and log stops. Met "franco" from some of the posts on this site and had a real nice talk with him. A mix of thru-hikers and day hikers today, but not too busy, given that it was a Wednesday.
