Yesterday's conditions were more than perfect for a summit to the tower on top of Carrigain. The trails were clear and well marked and the water crossings were no obstacle. The first 2.5 miles or so are swift hiking and allow for a decent pace. By the end of the day, a seat in the brook served as a perfect reward for 10.3 miles on a hot summer day! |
